Description
Changing Desert is a chalk pastel painting on PastelBoard. Changing desert is inevitably unstoppable, for the world is inevitably changing. It began as walk through the desert, which is plainly seen on the top right half of the of the painting, the rainbow is placed below the scenery because rain and snow are not as plentiful anymore. The bare tree, drawn in winter, is sectioned by different colors in-between to express the uncertainties of the weather. And on the top left of the painting, the cedar tree tops are green while the bottom is painted blue to represent it burning on fire. I could not paint the fire as it is because it’s so harsh to see the land burning. Despite the weather changes, the desert is beautiful.
